Mike McLean started his Radio / TV Career right in High School where he was on WSHR 91.9 during the afternoons reporting all Sachem Schools Information.  After Graduating and continuing to Suffolk Community College – His Passion moved him to WBLI then on over to WALK 97.5 as on-air talent.

In 1999 Mike was reporting for News 12 Traffic & Weather and News 12 Long Islands Morning Show as a Traffic Reporter.  Soon thereafter – He was flying around the Tri-State area in Chopper 4 WNBC as a Reporter.

During that time – He was and is working full time as a Real Estate Agent.  Currently with Signature Premier Properties and #8 in the company, Mike loves the Real Estate Transaction – but the people more.  He’s invited into people’s home to be part of their story.

His story is now continuing his story back into Radio.  Mike along with his friend and co-host, Jill Conway are excited to be part of the JVC Broadcasting with the “Mike & Jill Show” Airing Tuesdays on LI News Radio 103.9.

When not doing Real Estate or On-Air – you can find Mike either living life on the Northshore or Southshore of Long Island, usually close to the water. Mike lives in Lake Ronkonkoma and loves everything Long Island

Jill McDowell is an accomplished news veteran. For 20 years, Jill worked in television news as an on-air news reporter and anchor under her maiden name, Jill Conway.  

She worked at News 12 Long Island for 14 years, Ch.11 WPIX in NYC for 4 years and started her career at TV 55 in Melville in her earliest years.  She traveled the island and the tri state area, so she knows it well.

A seasoned professional for 20 years, Jill delivered live reports during 9/11 in NYC, TWA Flight 800, East End Wildfires, Papal visits, World Series, deaths of Princess Diana, JFK Jr. and Mother Teresa, Gilgo Beach Murders and not to mention daily general assignment stories. She’s interviewed high profile government and industry leaders including US Presidents and Vice Presidents, Governors, Senators and Congressman as well as NY State Lawmakers. 

10 years ago, in order to take more time for her family, Jill took a break from news to go into real estate. She has since appeared on Fox Business Channel to discuss the real estate market on Stuart Varney & Company and was awarded the 2021 Real Estate Power Leader Award by Schneps Media.

In 2023, Jill served as a Press Secretary for a NYS Senator and filled in as a morning anchor at News 12 Westchester. She also hosted a radio show with Mike McLean on WHLI. Jill is a strong advocate of the law enforcement community. Both her father and her sister proudly served on the NYPD and she is married for over 25 years to a member of law enforcement.

Jill is a mother of 3 wonderful children and active in their schools and in her local communities.  She also very supportive of her high school alma mater, St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, a Friar Mom and proud part of the SA Friar Nation. She is also a real estate agent on Long Island with Signature Premier Properties covering Nassau, Suffolk and the East End.
