John Resnick is a founder of The Resnick Group, LLC based in Naples, Florida.

John has extensive knowledge and expertise in providing life insurance guidance for high-net-worth families, family offices, executives, entertainment and sports figures, and privately-held business owners. John’s clients are recognized as some of the most successful families in the U.S. He has also served as an expert witness on life insurance products for major U.S. law firms on behalf of their clients.

A former adjunct professor, John has lectured at schools and universities, including The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. He has co-presented Wharton programs with Steve Forbes, Jon Huntsman, Sr, Prof. Jeremy Siegel, Wharton School Dean Patrick Harker, Jon Huntsman, Jr., and Prof. Stuart Diamond.

John is co-author of the American Bar Association’s recent national book “Due Diligence of Trust Owned Life Insurance”, a guide for estate planning attorneys, family offices, and professionals. His continuing education classes have been attended by over 3,000 attorneys and CPAs.

John is a contributor on life insurance to The Wall Street Journal, and other articles have appeared in Forbes, Journal of Practical Estate Planning, The Wharton Magazine, and Family Business Magazine.

John and Billie Resnick are co-creators of the nationally syndicated radio program, Legends of Success with John Resnick. The show includes John’s rare one-hour interviews with America's top CEO's, members of The Forbes 400, and entertainment icons, including Steve Forbes of Forbes Media, Evelyn Lauder of The Estee Lauder Companies, Jack Welch of General Electric, John Paul DeJoria of John Paul Mitchell Systems and Patron Tequila, Dan Cathy of Chik-fil-A, Dr. Robert Langer the co-founder of Moderna, Sara Blakely of SPANX, Jon Huntsman of Huntsman Corporation, Howard Schultz of Starbucks, legendary entertainer Jerry Lewis, iconic musician BB King, Bernie Marcus co-founder of The Home Depot, William Randolph Hearst, III, and many others.

The show’s objective is to share the personal journeys of how America's most successful business icons overcame obstacles and setbacks to make it to the top. Mr. Resnick strongly believes that it is vital to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of our students and young people by providing them with astute role models who have accomplished the dreams to which these new entrepreneurs aspire.
