Drew Scott is an award winning former News 12 Long Island television news-anchor and reporter who helped pioneer Long Island television news as it exists today.  He joined the News 12 Long Island team in 1997 as an anchor and reporter. On September 24, 2017 he announced his retirement from News 12.  In addition to working at News 12, Drew was the founding news director of WLNY TV 55 and worked as Washington Correspondent at the White House for Tribune Broadcasting.
