FULL STORY:  The “New York Post” reports that New York has more than $12 BILLION in unclaimed money sitting around, and some of it belongs to celebrities like TINA FEY, DIDDY, ANGELINA JOLIE and MARIAH CAREY.

These un-cashed checks are for a wide range of things, including:  Security deposits, insurance policies, stocks and mutual funds.

New York has been holding unclaimed checks for Tina Fey since 2005 . . . Diddy has funds dating back to at least 1991 . . . Mariah Carey has unclaimed money from 2002 . . . and Angelina Jolie has had checks sitting around since 2004.

Others on the list include:  Beyoncé, Steven Spielberg, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Denis Leary, Woody Allen, Glenn Close, Yoko Ono, Hilary Clinton, disgraced politician Anthony Wiener and even freakin’ Dina Lohan.

It’s unknown how much they’re owed.  The “Post” notes that one person has $1.7 million waiting to be claimed . . . but it may be a non-celebrity.

50% of the funds are for less than $100.  And it’s possible that some of these celebrities are only missing out on dividend checks worth literally PENNIES.
