A Long Island gang member accused of executing his girlfriend and her two-year-old son in 2010 is now on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” List.
The FBI says MS-13 member Juan Elias Garcia thought his 17-year-old girlfriend went to a rival gang after the couple fought. Garcia and other gang members are accused of luring Vanessa Aguenta and two-year-old, Diego Torres, to a wooded area in Central Islip where they were executed. Garcia was last seen in Ecuador in 2011.
This is believed to be the first time an MS-13 member has been put on the “Ten Most Wanted” list.
