A Long Island gang member accused of executing his girlfriend and her two-year-old son in 2010 has reportedly been arrested in Nicaragua.
“NBC 4 New York” reports Juan Elias Garcia was detained near the U.S. Embassy in Managua on Thursday before officials handed him over to the FBI. Garcia was put on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” List on Wednesday.
Garcia and other MS-13 gang members are accused of luring Vanessa Aguenta and two-year-old Diego Torres to a wooded area in Central Islip where they were executed. This is believed to be the first time an MS-13 member has been put on the “Ten Most Wanted” list.
